KTP is Asa Film’s second short film that has become viral on social media since it was released in 2016. This film tells about the complexity of the bureaucracy that occurs when making an identity card for Indonesian people who are so plural, especially in the religious column. At the time the film was made, only six religions could be written in the KTP column, causing a conflict for local believers who were very numerous.
The film also satirized the relevance of the religious column in the KTP column which we know often actually causes discrimination. This comedy genre is still being screened for various campaigns that address human rights issues in many universities and remote areas in Indonesia.
